What are the obstacles to cinema development in Burkina Faso?
Cinema in Burkina Faso, like other film industries round the world, is going through periods of turbulence. This not specific to Burkina Faso; it is a period of crisis affecting the various cinema sectors: production, distribution and exploitation.

Most of the film producers think that businessmen are not interested in commercials and so in cinema in general. What is your opinion about it?
I think that we have to do our best to get the businessmen interested in cinema. And I must even say that the film producers are also businessmen. We must do our best for other businessmen to feel like placing adverts in our films.
